A single premium beer made with uru flour (breadfruit)

All latest addition to the Brasserie de Tahiti, this Premium Lager Beer, 4.6% alcohol is light and slightly bitter.

The can is colored in green, red and gold, with white markings :
- Pia uru, meaning in language Tahitian uru beer
- Beer made from uru
- Premimum Lager Beer
- Brasserie de Tahiti
- Made in Fenua, which means Made in local counrty, such as Tahiti

In the background, the breadfruit tree that produces the fruit, with a characteristic leaf, rich in symbols.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, flour uru, hops - Alcohol : 4.6% Vol.

The abuse of alcohol alters the behavior and prohibits driving a vehicle. This reference is also listed in Tahitian : E fa'a'iao imura'ava huru i te o te e ta'ata, e'opani fa'ahoro ia i te ho'e faura'o.

The Hinano vahine

Vahine (pronounced vahiné) means woman or wife in Tahitian language.

Since 1955 this vahine is the is the logo of the famous brand mark of the local beer Hinano. It was created by a suedish painter called Pierre HEYMAN who painted the first drawing in 1953. The logo is engraved on the bottles until 1957 when the first ticket appear, for the pleasure of consumers and tourists who collect them. Since, the Hinano ticket changed a lot.

The mythical hinano vahine became the symbol of Tahiti and her islands. She is sitting cross-legged, wearing a red sarong (Pareo) with local colors, a flower of hibiscus as an ear jewel and a crown of tiare flowers in her long hair.
